Meet the Team
Nathan and Nick
Nathan and Nick (brothers) started work in the family business over 40 years ago, accompanying their parents to craft fairs at weekends, learning all there is to know about leather and leather craft. Between them they have given over 80 years to the family business through a variety of roles from school leavers to the present day. Nick has a keen eye for numbers and ensuring we have enough materials and products for manufacturing. Nathan is always keen on the production side of the business and sorting anything practical that needs doing and now runs our leather belt manufacturing team. Nick also owns and brings in our occasional office dogs Sheldon and Bella.
Fun Fact - There is not a hat in the world that looks good on Nathan.
Sarah
Sarah has been with us for around 20 years. She keeps her eyes on everything in the warehouse, making sure everything is being done properly and quality checking our belts. Nothing gets past Sarah, her organisation skills are only bettered by her cake baking ability. Sarah also has a rescue dog, Spud, who she brings in sometimes She is the fussiest thing you could ever meet, you just have to look at her and she rolls over to get her belly tickled, Spud, not Sarah.
Phil
Phil has been with us for around 15 years, he looks after the office, customers and can sometimes be found in the manufacturing area. Phil keeps on top of ordering materials and making sure we have all the right things we need to keep making belts. Crucially Phil is tasked with ensuring a regular milk supply to the kitchen, without which, many other parts of the team would fail.
Phil has a love of knitwear and a questionable fashion sense which is why he should never be allowed to have the ultimate say on new product decisions.
